Adipose (100x) Adipose tissue (fat tissue) is a loose connective tissue that stores fat.

Adipose (400x) Adipose (fat) tissue.  Adipocytes store triglycerides which push the cellular contents against the cell membrane.

Areolar (400x) Areloar tissue is a type of loose connective tissue.   Visible are the fibrous proteins giving this tissue its characteristic spaces.   Areolar refers to "space".

Dense reg. (400x) Dense regular connective tissue is found in tendons and ligaments. The collagen fibgers visible here give it strength when pulled.

Blood (400x) Human blood is a type of connective tissue.  Visible are the erythrocytes of red blood cells.
