Beth Gray has been on the faculty at The Ohio State University at Lima since 1995; she has also taught in the Department of Biological Sciences at Ohio Northern University. Dr. Gray's courses here include introductory biology, human biology, biochemistry, and comparative animal physiology. She also directed the Lima Regional Science Olympiad, which OSU Lima hosted 2000-2012.
Research
Dr. Gray has research interests in the endocrinology of teleost fish, including the impact of anthropogenic compounds on fish endocrine systems, and has co-authored numerous research papers on the subject. Prior to her arrival in northwestern Ohio she was an NIH Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Integrative Biology, UC Berkeley and a Research Endocrinologist in the same Department.
