Bachelor of Science in Education (BSED): Middle Childhood Education
- The Early Childhood education leads to licensure in grades pre-school through grade 3 in the state of Ohio.
- The Middle Childhood program leads to licensure in grades 4 through 9 in two areas of concentration in the state of Ohio. Students enrolling in this program choose two content areas from science, social studies, mathematics, and language arts.
Admission to both programs is highly competitive. Typically, students apply to the Education major after their second year of coursework. The state required minimum GPA for admission is 2.75. Interested students must meet with the education academic advisor regularly to ensure they are meeting the requirements for admission to the major.
