Course Description

(Human Nutrition 210) The Science of Human Nutrition (5 credits) - Basic principles of biological science involving interactions between nutrients and physiological processes with emphasis on implications for human health.
(Human Nutrition 310) Fundamentals of Human Nutrition (5 credits) - Nutrient and food energy needs of the human biological system throughout the life cycle with consideration of socio-psychological factors.
(Human Nutrition 313) Food in Different Cultures (3 credits) - Food practices of selected peoples of the world with consideration of the existing social, cultural, and economic conditions.
