Physics Learning Center, Autumn 2008
The Physics Learning Center is located in Science 312 (Physics Classroom). All OSU students enrolled in physics classes this quarter may use it. The room will be available to you whenever the room is not used for physics or astronomy classes or labs.
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 10:10 - 11:30am and 12:30 - 1:30pm
Tuesday & Thursday: throughout the day
During the Learning Center hours, you will have access to several PCs connected to the Internet, so that you can do your homework. As many of your classmates are likely to be there, too, you also can discuss how to solve the problems with them. Chances are that all of you will benefit from this.
Joe and Steven are our physics peer tutors this quarter. Please keep in mind that they will help you as much as they can, but it is neither their job to a) do your homework for you nor b) to know everything. You may ask them for help at the following times:
Steven: will be stationed in
Science 371 (Chemistry Instrument Room). He can also
help you with chemistry questions.
Monday: 3 - 5:00
Tuesday: 9:00 - 11:00, 3:30 - 5:00
Thursday: 3:30 - 5:00
Friday: 11:30 - 1:15
Joe: will be stationed in Science 312, unless otherwise noted
Learning Center Rule: If you are the last person leaving the room, close the door.
