Tuesday & Wednesday, Nov. 12 & 13, 2013
Martha W. Farmer Theatre for the Performing Arts
Be prepared to sing an up-beat song of your choice (NOT from "Spamalot") - a cappella - AND to perform a comic monologue, tell a funny story, or a few jokes!
Also, you will be taught a short dance/movement combination. Don't panic! You will not have to do it alone. We're just trying to see everyone's movement/dance capabilities.
Here is a link that will take you to a character break-down. Note that a number of actors play multiple roles. We may or may not go that route.
The auditions are open to the entire community! However, if you are an OSU student and you are cast, you will need to sign up for a Theatre 4000.08 Practicum course (3 credits).
We intend to have the show cast, and a first read-through, before we break for the holidays. Everyone who is cast will receive a script and a rehearsal schedule before break, so you may plan accordingly. Rehearsals will begin IMMEDIATELY upon returning for Spring semester. Rehearsals will M-F evenings, and Sunday afternoons. Not everyone will be called for every rehearsal.
Performance Dates: Thursday-Saturday, Feb.27-March1 @7:30pm.; Sunday, March 2nd @ 2:00pm.
