The athletic and recreation department aspires to reinforce the quality of life at the Ohio State Lima campus by instituting an environment favorable to the growth and development of students, faculty and the staff. Our goals are to provide an assortment of formal and informal recreation activities through intramural programs and open recreation periods along with six club sports programs. These endeavors foster the sense of leadership, wellness, social interactions, cultural exploration and the sense of community. Programs and services are designed primarily for students, however, faculty and staff are encouraged to participate and attend. Students are incorporated into program planning, implementation and evaluation in all areas possible. Club sport programming is geared toward both the campus and the community.
