Barons Volleyball
Women's Volleyball is a Fall Quarter sport at Ohio State Lima. The Lady Baron's compete against other teams in the Ohio Regional Campus Conference as well as some regional NCAA D-III and NAIA women's volleyball teams. There is a regular season champion and an end of the season state tournament. Ten teams make up the conference, and the program here at Ohio State Lima has been one of the strongest in the conference in past years. We follow the rules and regulations set forth by the NCAA.Policy and Information
Head Coach
Jill Ricker is the Barons Head Womens Volleyball Coach. The 2011 season will be her 2nd in the position. She is a 2003 graduate of The Ohio State University. Jill played basketball for the Barons before going to Columbus to earn her A.A, B.S. and MEd. in Physical Education. Jill has 8 years experience of teaching physical education at the collegiate level. Jill has taught at Ohio University, the University of Notre Dame and Defiance College.
Jill loves The Ohio State University & Rhodes State campus atmosphere. “This campus offers student athletes an opportunity to play a sport they love while developing social and leadership skills, a sense of community and proud representation of school.” Said Coach Ricker.
Jill is a graduate of Kalida High School and currently resides in Kalida with her husband Paul.
