Lima, OH Ė The Barons got their first win of the season when it mattered most as they topped OU Lancaster 13 to 3 in their first ORCC game of the 2009 Season.

It didnít take long though as in the third three Barons crossed the plate thanks to a walk by DJ Caprella (Shawnee), a double by Chris Boyd (Lincolnview), and single by Mitch Schulze (Botkins), and a triple by Adam Hemker (Delphos St. Johns).
The Barons took the lead for good in the fourth inning as they plated four with a single by Alfonso Rocha (Paulding), single by Andy Wisher (Spencerville), single by Caprella, triple by Boyd, and a sac fly by Schulze.
In the sixth inning the Barons secured the win as they plated 6 more runs as a result of 6 singles and another triple by Boyd.
