As a producer, Steve Buckingham is a four-time Grammy winner with 27 number one singles to his credit. He has been awarded 11 Platinum and 19 Gold albums. His special relationship with artists, musicians and songwriters has yielded Top Ten singles on 11 different charts: Pop, Country, Rhythm and Blues, Jazz, Adult Contemporary, Americana, Bluegrass, Christian, Hispanic, Triple A, and Dance. For 10 years, Buckingham was the Vice-President of A&R and staff producer for Columbia Records. He served for 11 years as Senior Vice-President of A&R and producer for Vanguard and Sugar Hill Records. Buckingham is also a musical historian and developed How Rhythm & Blues and Rock ’n’ Roll Tore Down the Walls of Segregation as a college course.
