Purple Cress
Purple Cress (Cardamine douglassii)
In bloom March 18 - April
30. This looks much like the Spring Cress, but its showy
purple-white flowers appear several weeks earlier. Stems are only
4-10 inches high. As this species dies back the Spring Cress
takes its place.
