Lima introduces new staff to campus
New staff welcomed throughout the year; introduced
officially at Opening Day Meeting Sept. 23.
Grace
Brown, Admissions and Financial Aid Counselor
Grace Brown began work in the Ohio State Lima Admissions Office
December 2008. In her work, Grace will
be leading recruiting efforts in Auglaize County and along the I-75 corridor
south to Dayton. She will also work with transfer students in their transitions
to Ohio State and serve as a financial aid counselor. Before her hire, Grace
worked in the Admission Office as a student worker from 2006 on. Originally
from the Bellefontaine area, Grace now lives in Lima.
Meredith
Kincaid, Admissions Counselor
Meredith Kincaid began work in the Ohio State Lima Admissions Office in
June 2009, coming to campus shortly after her graduation from the University of
Toledo where she earned a BA in Communications and worked in the UT Admissions
office for three years as a student worker. In her new job, Meredith will be
focusing on recruiting efforts in Putnam County and then north along the I-75
corridor to Toledo. She will also take the lead in organizing special
recruitment events both on and off campus. Meredith is a native of Columbus
Grove.
Julie
Paxton, Human Resources Associate
Julie Paxton returned to Ohio State Lima in April 2009 as a Human
Resources Associate after nearly nine years at the Allen County Extension
Office. Before her work at the Extension Office she actually began her Ohio
State career working for the Lima campus Admissions Office. Julie holds two
Associate Degrees, including one in Computer Programming. Julie currently lives
in Lima.
Marc Pescosolido, Facilities Supervisor
Marc Pescosolido joined Ohio State Lima as
Facilities Supervisor in October 2008 after many years of work with local
electrical contractors. In addition to his work experience, Marc brings a long
record of participation in education to the campus. He has taught electrical
classes for Solutions, Inc., the continuing education division of James A.
Rhodes State College. Also, he was elected to the Perry School Board in 2005
and serves as the Perry School District’s representative to the Apollo School
Board.
