Ohio State Lima welcomes record enrollment
The Ohio State University at Lima welcomes a record number of students to the first week of classes for Autumn Quarter 2010. More than 1563 students are enrolled in classes. The previous high was 1509 in Autumn Quarter 2009.
“We are excited to welcome a record number of students to the Ohio State Lima campus.” said Beth Keehn, Associate Director of Enrollment Services at Ohio State Lima. “When the students return for the start of a new academic year, we all remember why we do what we do – help them achieve their educational and life goals.”
of the students are new first quarter freshmen. Of the freshmen, 35 percent
come from outside Ohio State Lima’s traditional 10-county service area. The
freshmen represent 38 counties in Ohio. Approximately 160 of the overall
student body live in the near campus student housing.
Official numbers will be available following the 15th day of classes.
