Media Alert: Ohio State Lima Advocates to convene
The Ohio State University at Lima Advocates group will convene at 11:30 a.m., Fri., March 23, 2012, in the Reed Hall Cafeteria. The program will consist of a campus update and a student panel highlighting the student experience at Ohio State Lima.
During the campus update, Dr. John R. Snyder, Dean and Director at Ohio State Lima, will share where our students come from, how our tuition stacks up against other Ohio colleges and universities and what our economic impact is to the region. He’ll also discuss the semester conversion, plans for the Farmer Family Gallery and future programs coming to Ohio State Lima such as the First-Year Engineering Program, bachelor’s degrees in social work and theatre and the undergraduate licensure program for education.
The Ohio State Lima Advocates group was formed by the Board of Trustees to engage past members and gain their insights and perspective on how Ohio State Lima can better serve its students and community. Members can also be past members of the Citizens’ Advisory Council that preceded the Board of Trustees and selected community leaders.
