Opening night of the show on Thurs., Feb. 27, will be full of celebrations as Ohio State Lima marks the tenth anniversary of the Martha W. Farmer Theatre for the Performing Arts and artist Franklin Einspruch opens his exhibition in the Farmer Family Gallery at 6 p.m. The art gallery will be open before each show.

Monty Python’s Spamalot, with book and lyrics by Eric Idle and music by John Du Prez and Eric Idle, is a musical lovingly ripped off from the motion picture Monty Python and the Holy Grail. The original screenplay was written by Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin. The Tony Award winning show retells the legendary tale of King Arthur’s quest to find the Holy Grail. However, diverting a bit from the true story, this hilarious musical features a bevy of beautiful showgirls, not to mention cows, killer rabbits, and French people. Longtime local residents may recognize the familiar voice of David S. Adams as he portrays the Voice of God.
