Media Alert: Ohio State Lima hosts Women & Money conference July 18

The Ohio Treasury’s Women & Money conference will be held in the Lima area from 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Friday, July 18, 2008, at The Ohio State University at Lima campus. The opening session will be held in the Martha W. Farmer Theatre for the Performing Arts in Reed Hall and breakout sessions will be held around campus.

The event being held at Ohio State Lima is one of 11 free, full-day Women & Money conferences sponsored by the office of the Ohio Treasurer of State. Each conference is designed for women with all levels of financial experience.  Conference attendees can choose from the following break-out session topics:  Budgeting, Credit & Debt Management, Elder Care, Entrepreneurship, Estate Planning, Home Ownership, Insurance, Investments, Advanced Investments, Kids & Money, Retirement Planning, Social Security and Supportive Financial Attitudes. Additionally, a free Women & Money guidebook will help women and their families make sound financial plans in the years to come.  The day-long program will also include a complementary continental breakfast, lunch, free parking, and random prize drawings.
