Ohio State Lima Student Senate plans Recycling Drive
Nov. 25 event is open to the public
The Campus Wellness Committee of The
Ohio State University at Lima Student Senate will be hold a Recycling Drive to
raise awareness concerning the importance of recycling from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.,
Tues., Nov. 25, 2008, outside Galvin Hall. This event is free and open to the
community.
With the help of Allen County Recyclers, the group will accept aluminum cans,
plastic (#1 or #2), office papers, newspapers, and magazines. Any cans or
bottles must be rinsed and any paper must be completely dry. Other recyclables
such as paint, tires, and electronics cannot be accepted.
A drawing will take place at the conclusion of the drive for an assortment of
prizes such as restaurant gift cards and Ohio State door prizes. The more
recyclables someone donates, the more tickets that person will be awarded to
enter the drawings. Also, cupcakes will be available for those who donate while
supplies last!
