For Immediate Release February 6, 2003 CONTACT: Pam Joseph at (419) 995-8284 or Erin McVicker at (419) 995-8332 University Chorus to perform at Celebrate Community Diversity event The University Chorus will open the show for the Celebrate Community Diversity event at 7 p.m. Thursday, February 13, 2003, at the Veterans’ Memorial Civic and Convention Center. The featured speaker is talk show host and author Montel Williams. The chorus will be performing four pieces: a Kenyan folk song Ning Wendete, the Swahili Changamano, the Israel National Anthem Hatikva, and the Spanish/Latin piece Exsultate Cantamos Festivo. Tickets are $10 and available from the Civic Center box office at (419) 224-1552. In addition to its Celebrate Community Diversity appearance, the chorus will also perform its Winter Choral Concert at 8 p.m., Thursday, March 13, and its Spring Choral Concert at 8 p.m., Thursday, June 5, 2003, at St. John’s Catholic Church.
