Ohio State Lima students honored at Presidentís Salute to Undergraduate Achievement

Four Ohio State Lima students and their professors will travel to Columbus Wednesday, May 3, 2006, for the Presidentís Salute to Undergraduate Academic Achievement. This is an annual event that recognizes both the finest students and finest faculty at Ohio State.

Each student is nominated by his or her college and then has the chance to nominate the one faculty member who has made the most significant contribution or impact on the studentís education at Ohio State. Nomination has become one of the highest tributes that a faculty member can receive. Only 190 students from the Ohio State student body were invited to attend.

The four students and their faculty members attending follow.

Ashley S. Davis, a junior in Pre-Pharmacy from Lima, has nominated Dr. Charles Moseley, Associate Professor of Chemistry.

Nicole F. Endicott, a senior in Psychology from Wapakoneta, has nominated Doug Sutton-Ramspeck, a lecturer in English and the coordinator of the Writing Center.

Erin E. Sehlhorst, a senior in English from Pandora, has nominated Dr. Beth Sutton-Ramspeck, Associate Professor of English.

Amy J. Schroeder, a junior in Finance from Columbus Grove, has nominated Roger Nimps, lecturer in History, Assistant Dean and Director of Off-Campus Programs.
