For Immediate Release Feb. 20, 2006 CONTACT: Pam Joseph (419) 995-8284 University seeks actors for Shaw’s satirical Arms and the Man Auditions set for Feb. 28 The Ohio State University at Lima Theatre Department will hold auditions for George Bernard Shaw’s comedy Arms and the Man from 6-9 p.m., Tues., Feb. 28, 2006, in the Martha W. Farmer Theatre for the Performing Arts in Reed Hall. Production dates are May 18-21, 2006. Prospective actors should bring a prepared monologue to the audition and be prepared to also read from the script. Dr. Joe Brandesky, Professor of Theatre, will direct. Marketa Fantova is the guest designer for the show. Five men and three women will be cast. A script is on reserve at the Lima Campus Library in Cook Hall.
