Greetings,
As we approach mid- quarter, students should be getting
quite busy studying for mid-terms and completing term papers. It can sometimes
be difficult for students (or any of us, for that matter) to stay enthusiastic
as winter wears on... it's cold, it's wet, and it's dark and gray outside. So
it's important that we stay positive for students and encourage them to get out
and do something new:
Has your student attended one of the Baron's Basketball games?
What a great team! And they keep the games exciting, often winning at the last
second.
Intramural volleyball and basketball are great ways to get a
little exercise.
First Year Experience is going Ice Skating, February 19. Sign up
with Gail Nelson.
And of course, What's On Wednesdays and the Performing
Arts and Lecture Series has been hosting some terrific comedians, musicians
and performances to break up the long winter days.
Other topics:

questions about next year's finances, please attend. http://lima.osu.edu/calendar/detail.php?id=349&d=main
And, with a winter storm in the forecast, don't forget that
students can now register at BuckeyeAlert.osu.edu for weather delays and/or
cancellations.
Hope you are doing well!
