The purpose of the Undergraduate Student Academic Services Course (1 credit hour) is to introduce all new students to both the expectations of the University and the resources we offer to support them as students. Students learn how to schedule classes; pay tuition; and apply for Financial Aid. They meet staff in career services, counseling and consultation services; and First Year Experience. And they are encouraged to become involved in campus life outside of the classroom.
USAS courses are taught by the coordinator of First Year Experience, Gail Nelson. Additional class information and requirements for current students can be found on Carmen.
