What it means to be a Buckeye: Being a Buckeye means being held to a standard of excelling greatness; not greatness that is achieved by doing things, but that is achieved by being a person of noble character. It means putting others above yourself and helping them to succeed even if it means hindering your success. A Buckeye is a selfless caretaker of the community through loving and caring actions of selfless sacrifice for the gain of others. Being a Buckeye means others come first.
