Being a Buckeye means more than just having school pride and getting an education. Being a Buckeye is traditions, football games, friendships that last forever, dotting the i, bow ties and sweater vests, diversity, Carmen Ohio, yelling OH- IO, and being a part of a huge family of buckeyes no matter where you go. The Buckeye blood is in my family, and always has been; ever since I was a little girl I knew I would be nothing less than a Buckeye. It’s a sense of pride to wear that block O and know that you are representing one of the biggest and the best universities in the country. Not only do we have a reputable academic program that is recognized anywhere, Ohio State has some of the best and most loyal fans as well. However, my absolute favorite part of being a Buckeye is the everlasting friendships made throughout the journey, and knowing when classes are through and the fun is over, we will always remember, “how firm thy friendship…Ohio.”
