Connecting to OSU Lima Secure Wireless with Windows Vista

OSU Lima Secured Wireless-Network:
Setup for Windows Vista - Personally Owned Computers (i.e. students)
1. Right click the Network
icon in the system tray and choose "Connect to a Network".

2. Click on the “Set up a connection or network”

3. Choose “Manually
connect…” then click Next. (Figure 3)
4. Fill in the following information: Network name:OSU Lima Secured, Security Type:
WPA2-Enterprise,Encryption Type:TKIP.
Then click Next (Figure 4)

5. Click on the “Change
connection settings.” (Figure 5)
6. Select the “Security” tab at the top. (Figure 6)
7. Click on “Settings…” (Figure 7)

8. Uncheck the
“Validate server certificate” (Figure 8)
9. Click on “Configure…” (Figure 8)
10. Uncheck “Automatically use my Windows logon….”
(Figure 9)
11. Click OK, click OK again, and click
OK once again

12. Click on “Connect
to…” (Figure 10)
13. Choose “OSU Lima Secured” then click on
Connect. (Figure 11)
14. Choose “Enter/select additional log on
information” (Figure 12)
15. Enter the following information: User name:lastname.number, Password:
Lima Campus password, Domain: Campus.
Click OK. The credential window will reappear. Re-enter
the information again. (Figure 13) You should now be connected.
