Prague Study Trip, 2017

Group takes advantage of winter break to learn about Czech theatre

Students from both the Lima and Columbus campus spent their winter break exploring the continuing cultural significance of the Czech Republic in central European and world culture. Tour leaders were Interim Dean and Director Joe Brandesky and Dan Matthews, assistant professor of theatre.

The study tour visited many of the major theaters in the country including Cesky Krumlov’s baroque theatre and Prague’s National and Vinohrady theatres and the Theatre of the Estates. Students took a preparatory course during Autumn semester to help them get the most out the trip.
