The Ohio State University at Lima

Nesha Johnson

Barons Athletic Director Nesha Johnson came to campus from the Cincinnati Reds, where she was a consumer clubs coordinator. As the Women’s Volleyball coach for the 2017 season, she lead the Lady Barons to the conference semi-finals.

Nesha participated in the track and field contests of weight and hammer throw as a student athlete at the University of Toledo while earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications. She went on to the University of Miami (FL) to earn her Master of Science in Education in Sport Administration. She is also a Registered Athletic Administrator.

As Athletic Director and Coach, Nesha encourages all Barons’ athletes to play hard, play smart and play together. “Ohio State Lima has a diverse demographic on campus with endless potential. It is my hope to not only develop the athletic programs, but also to restructure intramurals to increase student involvement and engage our students with the community by developing community service projects.”
