Athletics - Policy and Information

Barons Sports

The Lima Campus has five different sports to choose from: Women's Volleyball, Women's Basketball, Men's Basketball, Men's Baseball, and Men's Golf. Our mascot is the BARONS and we are members of the Ohio Regional Campus Conference (O.R.C.C.).

Eligibility:

Any Ohio State Lima/Rhodes State student carrying at least 7 hours is eligible to play a sport. Students must also carry at least 7 hours during the semester in which they wish to participate in the sport. All that the student needs to do to become part of a sports team is to meet the preceding requirements and tryout for the team of interest. Tryout dates will be posted around the campus. We look for student athletes interested in representing the Lima campus, the team and themselves with respect and dignity. Athletics are a privilege and school is a priority. Information is available in Cook Hall Room 105.
