The Learning Center
The Phillip A. Heath Center for Teaching and Learning makes a high-quality education accessible to all students by offering a welcoming, respectful and academically supportive environment. The Center works with faculty and staff to support students in all disciplines and of all ability levels.
Students can find assistance for specific projects and their general writing skills in a caring, supportive environment.
Assistance is available in mathematics and statistics.
Proctoring of exams (e.g., make-up, special needs, early finals for graduating seniors) is performed free-of-charge for all current Ohio State students. Students attending other institutions who seek this service will be assessed a fee of $25 per hour per exam. Contact Julie Paxton for further information: 567-242-7310 or firstname.lastname@example.org
The Credit by Examination Program allows students to progress more rapidly toward their educational goals by reducing the time and money normally required for degree completion. The EM program rewards students for their knowledge and challenges them to acquire new knowledge and greater understanding. Contact Julie Paxton at 567-242-7310 or e-mail email@example.com for more information.
The Heath Testing Center can proctor higher learning exams in paper-based format. Prospective candidates should contact their host institutions to verify this location as acceptable for proctoring.
