The Phillip A. Heath Center for Teaching and Learning makes a high-quality education accessible to all students by offering a welcoming, respectful and academically supportive environment. The Center works with faculty and staff to support students in all disciplines and of all ability levels. All services will be remote until students return on January 25th when we will open for both virtual and in-person services.

English Placement Testing

English placement tests are delivered remotely unless requested otherwise. Students can register for the English Placement Test via Advising or by contacting Timothy Cheeseman or Julie Paxton.

Math Placement Tests

Math placement tests are delivered remotely via main campus in Columbus at http://go.osu.edu/mathplacement. Please contact Julie Paxton for assistance with Math Placement.

The Heath Learning Center will be open Spring 2021 Monday-Friday 10 a.m.- 3 p.m with remote access Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

To schedule testing for courses, please contact Timothy Cheeseman or Julie Paxton.

Assistance is available through drop-in or scheduled appointments. Students needing writing assistance may also request Email Drop-Off assistance by contacting the learning center staff or their assigned tutor. Remote appointments may be scheduled outside our open hours.
