Practice makes you better in all skills in life, and interviewing is no different! Mock interviews are a great way to make connections with employers and kick-off your summer internship/job search! All students are encouraged to take advantage of this service provided by the Office of Career Development.

Dates for 2023 Mock Interviews are: March 21 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. and March 22 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

Mock interviews are 30-minute simulations of a real video interview. Interviews are scheduled based on student availability, and they’re conducted virtually via Zoom by employers/professional partners who have graciously donated their time to assist Ohio State Lima students.

Students are interviewed based on contemporary employer interview practices, including both traditional and behavior-based questions. Immediately following the interview, students receive positive and constructive feedback regarding their interview, including how questions were answered, tips for improving performance, feedback on body language, etc.

If you’re interested in scheduling a mock interview, please complete and return a mock interview registration form along with a copy of your resume.
