WeServe is a campus-wide service initiative that calls for each student, faculty, and staff member at Ohio State Lima to volunteer five or more hours of service each year either as part of a group or individually. During the 2016-2017, the challenge to take the talent, strength, and energy of Ohio State Lima out into the wider world was met. The campus community surpassed the 5,000-hour goals early while serving more than 120 organizations in 16 counties. In addition to the projects people take on individually, several group projects are available each semester. Students, alumni, employees, and friends of campus are welcome to participate and help Ohio State Lima build stronger ties within our service area.
Lima Outstanding Service Award
Please consider nominating any employee be they faculty or staff. This may be a self-nomination. All nominees regardless of position will be considered equally for this award. With your nomination, please give specific examples that give the committee the information needed to make the best choice. The members of the Outreach, Service, and Engagement committee will evaluate all nominations and award two employees with the Ohio State Lima Outstanding Service Award.
