The Ohio State University at Lima will host its 2025 Alumni Awards reception to celebrate the accomplishments of its Hall of Fame and Early Achievement alumni award inductees. Doors open in the G. Gilbert Cloyd Student Commons in the lower level of Galvin Hall for a reception at 5 p.m., Wednesday, October 1, with remarks and award ceremony at 5:30 p.m.
The 2025 inductee for the Alumni Hall of Fame is Dr. David M. Rolsten (BS in Zoology 1977, DDS 1981), and for the Early Achievement Award, Dr. Abby E. Vennekotter (BS in Animal Sciences 2016).
Successful Alumni Hall of Fame nominees advocate for the university and are regarded as community leaders with records of sustained professional recognition and/or involvement in community activity. They must have graduated from The Ohio State University 20 or more years ago to be eligible for nomination. Early Achievement nominees are also advocates for the university and have demonstrated distinctive achievement in a career, civic involvement or both. They must have graduated no more than 10 years from the time of the award.
