The Ohio State University at Lima screens Alfred Hitchcock’s legendary thriller, The Birds, on the big screen at The Met in downtown Lima on Saturday, November 8, 2025. Admission to the movie is free and a cash bar is available. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the program begins at 6:30 p.m.
At a Q&A preview before the lights dim, Dr. John Hellmann, Ohio State Lima professor of English and renowned Hitchcock expert, will reveal the hidden layers of The Birds, from its eerie reflections of 1960s America to the subtle symbols and techniques that even seasoned fans overlook.
