Lifelong Learning returns for autumn term

Registration is now open for the Lifelong Learning Institute at The Ohio State University at Lima. Autumn term 2025 classes will be held on October 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, 23, 28 and 30, in the Student Services Center near the Mumaugh Road entrance on campus. 

LLI is a program of the Road Scholar Institute and offers classes for mature adults on four Tuesdays and Thursdays in April and October each year. LLI is an independent volunteer organization sponsored by Ohio State Lima since 1991.

Highlights for autumn include classes on Allen County speakeasies during Prohibition, Ohio’s State of the Girl Report, acupuncture, cybersecurity, the Lincoln Highway, Navajo traditions and the pow wow, missionary dentistry, and the hiking triple crown. 

A full list of courses and registration information are available at go.osu.edu/llifall2025. Cost is $40 whether you register for one course or all. Classroom size is limited and taken on a first-come, first-served basis to a maximum of 50 people. 

Registration deadline is Friday, September 26, 2025. 

Individual classes last 1.5 hours and meet at the same time each week.
