Transfer Students

The Ohio State University at Lima offers access to any of Ohio State's 200+ majors. Students are given the opportunity to start course work in Lima and transition to the Columbus campus. Ohio State Lima gives students a world-class education in and out of the classroom with learning experiences, such as study abroad, research tours, and internship programs. Outside of the classroom, Ohio State Lima offers a vibrant student life with over 30 different student organizations and intramural athletics.

If you are an Ohio resident, you may apply for admission to The Ohio State University at Lima. If you have earned at least a 2.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) on all college course work taken in the last 3 years, we will review your academic performance in college to determine your eligibility for admission.
 

Depending on the number of credit hours you are transferring and your desired major, the Lima campus may be a great option. The Ohio State University at Lima offers 12 complete, four-year degree programs including Biology, Business Management, Early and Middle Childhood Education, Child and Youth Studies, Engineering Technology, English, History, Psychology, Social Work, Theatre, and Zoology. In addition to Bachelor Degrees, Ohio State Lima offers four degree completion programs and pre-professional preparation.
