Aristotle said that all men by nature desire to know. Philosophy is the living result of that desire. What is the nature of man and of the universe? How can we know it? Can we be certain? What is the nature of the mind? Are we free or determined? What must we do to be happy? What must we do to be moral? Can we be both happy and moral or does one conflict with the other?
