Career Week

The annual Career Week is taking place in September and kicking off on September 13, 2026. Students across all majors, campuses and degree levels are welcome to join for a week of career development and networking. 

Make plans to attend this year’s expanded Lima Campus Coffee and Careers: Job and Internship Fair, happening on Tuesday, September 15, from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. (Lima campus Science building lobby).  

For an opportunity to engage with employers outside of the local area, mark your calendar to attend The Ohio State University campus-wide Fall Career and Internship Fair, happening in-person on Wednesday, September 16, from 1 – 5 p.m. (Ohio Union on Columbus campus).

JCP Suit-Up Event is a career-wear sale hosted on Sunday, September 13, from 3-6 p.m. at the JCPenney Lima Mall location, 2400 Elida Road, as part of a university-wide career week for fall 2026. Get up to 45% off on select career wear, shoes and accessories. 

This event is open to all students, staff and faculty at Ohio State Lima. 

JCP Suit Up is coordinated by Lima Mall JCPenney and the career development offices of Ohio State Lima, Ohio Northern University, Rhodes State College, and Wright State University Lake Campus. Join us for a networking event where students can engage with Career Development staff, get leads on internship and employment opportunities from employers firsthand, fine-tune their resumes and cover letters, and gain valuable insights into all things career-related-all while enjoying a cup of coffee on us!

No special attire is required, and all students are welcome to stop by to learn more about internships and jobs.  As additional incentives for student participation, we will conduct raffles and give away door prizes throughout the event.
