K-12 Mild/Moderate Special Education Licensure

Mild/Moderate Curriculum

The licensure program classes will all be “hybrids,” in that they will combine virtual meetings with minimal in-person meetings. While the format of the classes may be different than the traditional in-person format, the rigor of the Ohio State program will remain high.

Licensure classes are designed around the working educational professional's schedule and will be held in the evening or summer through a hybrid delivery. Students can connect to any synchronous classes virtually.

New applicants will apply using the Extended Education Application.

Students for this program will be classified as Undergraduate, non-degree students. This category will enable you to enroll in classes for multiple semesters.
