STEM Steps 2024

The Ohio State University at Lima invites high school sophomore and junior girls to the tenth annual STEM STEPS, an enriching and exciting day filled with hands-on activities in various STEM fields to encourage and stimulate an interest in science. The event empowers young women to achieve success in STEM fields by instilling self-confidence and a can-do attitude. Students will also learn the role of women in STEM fields and see how they can impact the world with STEM education.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Dr. Susan Kaufman has practiced family medicine for 31 years, 10 of which have been with Lima Memorial Physicians. During this time, Dr. Kaufman has served as chief of medical staff, division chief for primary care, and Lima Memorial Physicians Primary Care medical director. Dr. Kaufman is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and also holds a Master of Health Services Administration.
