About this event

Join Librarian Zach Walton's discussion about banned books as part of Banned Books Week, which highlights the value of free and open access to information and brings together the entire book community — librarians, educators, authors, publishers, booksellers, and readers of all types — in shared support of the freedom to seek and to express ideas. Please join the Diversity Committee and Zach Walton, Instruction Librarian at the Lima Campus Library, in the middle of Banned Books Week on September 26 from 12:40 p.m. to 1:40 p.m. to learn more about the history of censorship in the United States, frequently banned and challenged books, the increase in book bans and challenges in recent years, and how you can celebrate your freedom to read.
