About this event

Join us in the Farmer Family Gallery at Ohio State Lima for an hour screening of Short Films followed by a Q&A with the filmmaker, Liz Cambron.

Sponsored by the Ohio State Lima Honors program, with film selection originally curated by Yasmeen Taher-Masri and Layla Benali for Cineseries at the Wexner Center for the Arts. Free and open to all.

About the artist

Liz Cambron incorporates ecological and relational narrative structures into her films to explore topics such as women’s labor struggles, sexuality in women’s lives, and magical realism as a method for deconstructing social structures such as gender and class. Her films have shown internationally and at esteemed venues including Slamdance Film Festival, Roots and Culture Contemporary Art Center, the Wexner Center for the Arts and others. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Theatre, Film and Media Arts at The Ohio State University. She is currently in production on her first feature film with support from the Wexner Center Film/Video residency.
