About this event

The Community and Connection Committee welcomes Scott Bruno from The Temple of Tolerance Museum, a visionary art environment, tourist attraction, and an oasis for the region's youth. The first phase of the two-acre public rock garden was completed in 1999, following 18 years of construction by local artist and humanitarian, Jim Bowsher, who continued to expand and refine the space until his death in 2024. Jim Bowsher was a humanitarian, prolific writer, storyteller, collector, self-taught archaeologist, and a frequent visitor to the Lima campus.

Scott Bruno has been documenting The Temple of Tolerance and Jim Bowsher's extraordinary historical collection since 2018.
