Join us for a conversation with Lima native and Ohio State alum Amber Garlock. Amber is a Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Department of State where she serves as a diplomat to represent the U.S. abroad. Amber will talk about her experiences abroad, careers in the Foreign Service and the work of the U.S. Department of State. She graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor degree in history and received her Master of Public Policy from George Mason University. Amber previously worked for the U.S. House of Representatives as a foreign policy analyst and is a returned Peace Corps volunteer, Burkina Faso 2012-2014. Amber is a graduate of Lima Central Catholic High School and attended one semester at Ohio State Lima.
