Virtual Information Sessions to be held in April and May

The Ohio State University at Lima welcomes transfer students each semester and will host host two virtual Transfer Information Sessions for interested students – 10 a.m., Tue., April 28, and 2 p.m., Wed., May 27, 2020.

Prospective students will have the opportunity to learn more about the transfer process, financial aid and academic advising during these virtual info sessions.

“Transfer students do really well at Ohio State Lima,” said Kristina Healy, director of enrollment services at Ohio State Lima. “We see generally higher GPAs and retention rates among transfer students, as compared to new, first-time freshmen. The support services we offer contribute to these positive outcomes.”

Healy said Ohio State Lima welcomes the opportunity to serve any students interested in being a Buckeye this summer or next fall.

Ohio State Lima offers 13 bachelor’s degrees including biology, business, education (including early childhood education, middle childhood education and child and youth studies), engineering technology, English, health sciences, history, psychology, social work, theatre and zoology. Baccalaureate completion degrees are also available in health sciences and social work. Students in attendance at the info sessions may be eligible to receive an application fee waiver.
