Fábio P. Leite, MBA, Ph.D.
Dr. Leite joined the department of psychology at Ohio State Lima in 2007, after a 2-year postdoctoral position on the Columbus campus.
He has carried two lines of research, one in cognitive psychology and the other in management/industrial psychology through the years. His main research line involves the analysis of response time and accuracy data from quick decisions in order to infer how people process information. Recently, Dr. Leite has contributed to prominent articles toward advancing the methodology in mathematical modeling applied to cognitive (and other) sciences.
He has taught many courses at Ohio State Lima, among which Memory & Cognition (3312), Intro to Behavioral Neuroscience (3313), and Cognitive Psychology (4510). In addition, Dr. Leite has mentored several undergraduate students in research, many of whom have chosen to go on to graduate school. If you are interested in finding out whether there is an opportunity for you (for which you can earn course credit- see 4998), email him. Beware that research takes time; ideally, plan to commit for at least a full academic year - you will have fun and learn a lot!
