Dr. S. Tariq Rizvi, professor of mathematics, was recently honored at the 2021 International Non Communitive Rings and Their Applications, VII Conference in Lens, France. The entire conference was dedicated to Rizvi, who presented the keynote address, for a lifetime of creative research and service to the field.
He took a moment after the conference to answer some questions about his research, future mathematicians, and overcoming a fear of the subject.
