High school students interested in behavioral health careers will be both at the Lima Campus and at local behavioral health agencies for a Behavioral Health Career Exploration Day from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., Friday, January 26, 2024. The event is hosted by The Ohio State University at Lima and Rhodes State College in collaboration with the Mental Health and Recovery Services Board of Allen, Auglaize and Hardin Counties.

Students who attend will learn about the behavioral health field, tour local behavioral health agencies, and discover how degrees from Ohio State Lima and Rhodes State College can lead to future career opportunities in the behavioral health field. Students will also be able to tour our co-located campus and start down a pathway to a future in behavioral health in west central Ohio.

The event is free for high school freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors. Registration is limited to 120 students and will be filled on a first come/first serve basis. Each student or group of students must be accompanied by a teacher, counselor or parent/guardian throughout the day.

The registration deadline is January 17. Register at https://bit.ly/behavioralhealthday24.
