Peter and the Starcatcher takes flight at Ohio State Lima April 11-13

The crew and passengers of the Neverland encounter a problem on stage

The Department of Theatre, Film and Media Arts at The Ohio State University at Lima presents Peter and the Starcatcher at 7 p.m., April 11, 12 and 13, in the Martha W. Farmer Theatre for the Performing Arts in Reed Hall. 

Peter and the Starcatcher by Rick Elice tells the back story of Peter Pan. Audiences can expect an evening of theatrical charm as students from Ohio State Lima and Lima Senior High School tell how our favorite characters came to Neverland. 

“You’re sure to find Starcatcher excites and delights through its themes of community, greed, friendship, duty, love, longing and belonging,” said Director Joanna Walt, theatre teacher at Liberty Arts Magnet and Lima Senior High School. “Reminiscent of Story Theatre, where actors get to stretch their abilities while performing multiple roles, our cast forms and transforms throughout the show. It’s been amazing to watch everyone support one another, literally helping Peter Pan take flight.” 

Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students and seniors. The Box Office opens at 6 p.m. and the theatre doors at 6:30 p.m.

Peter and the Starcatcher is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).
