Buckeye Wellness on Wheels brings free screenings/education to community

The Ohio State University at Lima welcomes Buckeye Wellness on Wheels to campus from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Fri., April 10, 2015, in the Galvin Hall Commons, Room 054.

Free health screenings are being offered to the public. The free community health screenings include blood pressure, height, weight, body mass index, stress and nutrition assessments and wellness education. No appointments are needed. Walk-ins are welcome.

Buckeye Wellness also includes the College of Pharmacy's brown bag service. Visitors can bring their current medications to learn about common uses, side-effects and interactions with other medications. Current medications may include prescription, over-the-counter, herbal, vitamins and supplements.

The visit by Buckeye Wellness on Wheels is made possible by a partnership between the College of Education and Human Ecology, College of Nursing, College of Pharmacy, Alumni Association, Ohio State Extension and Ohio State Lima.
