Student in a car with Day of Giving in the corner

I have always had to work very hard in providing for myself and college as well since family contribution just wasn’t an option for me. Helping children became a passion of mine at a very young age. I chose to volunteer during eighth grade and early high school at a nursing home. This helped me really learn the patience, love, and care I had for others.

When I am not at school at the Ohio State Lima campus or in my field placement, I work my summers at Camp Robin Rogers, which is a camp for children with special needs. This is one of my biggest passions. After graduation, I hope to use my degree to continue on my passion for with children and striving to make a difference for all of them.

I am extremely grateful for receiving this scholarship from Mr. And Mrs. Foster. I could never put in enough words to explain how much this helps my future goals and. It’s such a relief for once, that money isn’t a worry and I can focus fully on my future through the rest of this year and into graduation, as well as my plans after. Not only has it helped me financially, but it also made me feel so supported in the fact that others want us students, including me, to succeed.
